A Jingyuan merchants’ conference was held recently in Jingyuan county, Baiyin city, Northwest China’s Gansu province, aiming to attract merchants from Jingyuan and Pingchuan counties to invest in their hometowns, Gansu Economy Daily reported on Feb 17.
Established in 2013, Jingyuan Chambers of Commerce, which has introduced many investment projects, which have greatly promoted the economic development of the county.
The Chambers of Commerce consists of 210 members and 33 enterprises. More than 90 entrepreneurs from all over the country came back to their hometown to attend the conference.
The major achievement of the conference included a 20-million-yuan ($3.3 million) Jing’an village standardized scale farm project in cooperations with Urumqi Hongbang Lanxing Boiler Manufacturing Co Ltd.
In addition, the Chambers of Commerce entered into a collaboration, working on the Xinjiang and Middle-Asian markets, with Gansu Kaisi Porcelain Co Ltd.
